Mom's in the kitchen, baking a cake,

Dad's watching the news, it's getting late,

I'm down on the street, playing cops and thieves,

Where have all those moments gone, like a summer breeze?

Where did those days go, so simple and pure?

Moments of innocence, we thought they'd endure,

Bubbling laughter, under the sun,

Where have those beautiful moments gone?

Mom's apron dusty, flour in her hair,

Dad's in his chair, a world full of care,

I'm chasing dreams, down memory lane,

Searching for those times, but they never remain.

Where did those days go, so simple and pure?

Moments of innocence, we thought they'd endure,

Bubbling laughter, under the sun,

Where have those beautiful moments gone?

Time moves on, and we grow old,

But in our hearts, those stories are told,

Mom’s gentle smile, Dad's calm embrace,

In our memories, they find their place.

Mom’s voice calling, come wash your hands,

Dad's deep voice, sharing his plans,

I'm lost in the echoes, of a time so dear,

Wishing those moments could still be here.

Where did those days go, so simple and pure?

Moments of innocence, we thought they'd endure,

Bubbling laughter, under the sun,

Where have those beautiful moments gone?
